For context, Ozempic's shortage is due to its production ramp-up going slower than the demand ramp-up. It's genuinely not manufactured enough, world-wide, right now, for legitimate reasons, but things are improving.
Adderall's shortages are artificial, created by DEA. The active ingredients are cheap and it would be possible to readily make enough for everybody — or import from Europe —, but the Warriors On Drugs have placed down artificial roadblocks, creating the current mess specifically in USA. (There are also ADHD medicine shortages in some other countries; these are different shortages, but the reason pattern is similar: War On Drugs motivated regulatory constraints on production and importation.)
