I wonder how many of my 2600 followers on the main account are still active users. I want to say that engagement (faves / boosts) has remained basically the same since I started my instance, and about 2000 folks started following after I started posting here.

I still feel like Mastodon is the social equivalent to Linux. Powerful, customizable and free from major corporate interest, but also abrasive and unfriendly to those who don’t put in the time, and it appears simpler to use something else.
