Great thread about implementing #Bitcoin into a business. I was also under the impression that strike (npub1ex7…vyt9) pays Lightning invoices on our behalf and we technically don’t take custody of those sats — hence, it’s not a taxable event. Would love to get 6 confirmations on this.

From what I recall from the video jack mallers (npub1cn4…3vle) published, the idea is when you use fiat and pay via lightning, the strike (npub1ex7…vyt9) app makes the purchase and simultaneously sends the payment via lightning so essentially your buying and selling at the same time. I’m sure he or someone at Strike will confirm this for us.
