Funny thing, I don’t delete the ?utm=arse cruft from URLs to prevent tracking or any of that privacy stuff. I delete it because it’s fucking ugly and I don’t like sharing ugly shite with people I care about.
Which leads me to ponder, if you want normal people to take these inside-baseball tech things seriously, frame them as an aesthetics issue.
