Some Thoughts on Rhetoric, Ethics, Biology, Time, and Acceptance
I have been stuck—that’s how a dear friend would describe it: I am disappointed by the re-election of Donald Trump, particularly bothered by pejorative thinking and words from MAGA relatives and acquaintances that brought forth this electoral outcome. I have strong beliefs about right and wrong that differ greatly from those of Trump and his disciples. I am flummoxed by an awareness that Trump has not even been inaugurated, yet may continue to annoy me daily for four more years unless I have a survival plan. What can I do to cope?
