I’ve just been listening to the awful Marianna Spring on a programme about Meta’s decision to switch from fact checkers to community notes, and it’s so bloody patronising! People aren’t stupid, they don’t need “pre-bunking” and hand holding, they can just use their brains, or a search engine, to check whether a post is likely to be false!
