Some of the data will be "cold" and there will be external backups. They will not be SSD devices, also because they'll contain big files and concurrency will be quite low. The OS (FreeBSD) will be in another pool (I'll use two SSDs for this) and will also contain some jails and some VMs. Those will be small SSDs so this pool will be a mirror.
