It’s not just full text search, it’s a lot of other things:

- The trending content here is boring and usually ‘welcome to mastodon!’ or ‘this other platform is doing awful!’

Small design things:

- Notifications do not group.
- Lists do not work like other platforms and are an absolute PITA to manage.
- Quote tweets. These are just plain needed. Not up for debate anymore lol.
- There isn’t a good story for getting real-time news in my city.
