Armored Warriors is really weird and I can't figure it out and there's basically no discourse about it online. Capcom made a mecha themed beat-em-up complete with swappable parts changing your movesets. It takes a lot from AvP, you have a gun button and most of your jumps double as attacks. The music is basically the Rockman X guitar but for the ENTIRE game. It really captures the speed and intensity of controlling a mecha in beat-em-up form, but like most Capcom arcade beat-em-ups, the enemy damage is tuned too high. The gun button has limited ammo which is stupid when AVP solved this by giving the gun a recharge meter. There are about six different arm, leg, and gun parts which change your moveset permanently until replaced which is just absurd in a 30 minute beat-em-up but at least it isn't a fucking item wheel like D&D and naturally half of the weapons are dogshit outside of the AI using them to fuck your shit up. It's SUPER cool from start to finish but I can't tell if it's actually GOOD and I've run it 1.5 times so far.
