What did a meat pie cost when you were a kid #AUStriches?

When talking about inflation with normies, this is my go to question. Lunch from the school canteen or tuck shop depending when/where you grew up was a rare treat, those prices are ingrained in the psyche even if they don’t think about it much.

Here’s some examples I found:
