how long has macOS had thumbnails? how long has the *dock* had thumbnails for *folder contents*? why don’t we have thumbnails or icon files displaying in the same way they would in finder... in the dock? I don’t get it. there’s no rationale for it, you can’t argue against this. it’s just a stupid thing that’s lingered for a stupid amount of time.
