well, that was anti-climactic.
the temperature dropped and it got dark for about two minutes, but we never got the halo corona I so wanted to see.
we did get the diamond ring for about 2 seconds which was nice and all the neighbors were outside and we exchanged pleasantries while the dogs scratched at the door trying to get outside and down to the sidewalk where I had my chair.
