Bitcoin is both the Big Bang and a Black Hole.
Big Bang: the adoption of Bitcoin and the initial distribution of coins started out concentrated among only a few people. Over time, this adoption and distribution of coins has dispersed and will likely continue to do so -similar to the expanding universe. You can also think of Bitcoin’s base layer as the Big Bang, with additional layers being built on top, growing outward exponentially.
Bitcoin moves from low entropy ➡️ high entropy, just as the Big Bang moved from low entropy ➡️ high entropy.
Black Hole: all of the distributed wealth in the world - real estate, gold, stocks, bonds, currencies etc will eventually be sucked into the Bitcoin network, similar to a black hole. High entropy ➡️ low entropy. Once the wealth has been sucked into bitcoin, it will then begin to disperse out into the world as people build, invest, and purchase the things they need and want, ushering in another Big Bang moment, if you will.
Saturday thoughts.
