In California they just tried to pass a bill that would charge a homeowner for using deadly force even if the criminal was inside of their bedroom so long as they had a ‘place to flee’. Otherwise they could be charged with murder even though the criminal was inside their home walking up the stairs to the kids room. The reason claimed was so that ‘white supremacists’ couldn’t use home invasion as an excuse to murder a black person which is ridiculous.",
