The pitched frequencies you get out of power drills are a bunch of sparse integer harmonics of some (often quite low) fundamental. And as far as I can tell those integer harmonics are determined by the ratios in the drill's gearbox. Does anyone have examples of what those gear ratios might be in a typical cordless power drill?
