Just deleted #instagram and #facebook. I see a clear pairing of algorithm based social media and what happened today. Unfortunately Mastodon doesn't have the user base to be a replacement, so I've kept my accounts active for emergencies like #Helene (which was when I re-installed IG on my phone)
