The average for the year shows one of the biggest leaps since the measurements started in 1958. Taking my December estimate, the average for 2025 is 424.6 ppm, that's 3.5 ppm more than last year's 421.1 ppm.
The 3.4 ppm jump from 2023 to 2024 was the highest seen so far.
