Hot take: if you are upset that Washingtonians can't sue for privacy violations without suffering an injury to their "business, person, or reputation," ask the state legislature to change the statutory injury requirement to be broader, instead of just being mad at the sleazy car company practices.

And, wait and see - the plaintiffs' lawyers will go out and find people who CAN allege such an injury, and re-file the cases with those new plaintiffs.
