Bitcoin conferences should become even more boring. Just like gravity(!good amoral permissionless money should be the most boring thing. Because no one can influence it, shape it, control it, there won't be interest on talking about it.
Nostr on the other hand, is new and exciting, there is a lot of shaping to do.
But it too, when it wins, will become very boring. Like electricity. For most it's invisible.
Only deep industry ppl should care about the plumbing.

i don’t know the actual numbers, but it felt like this was the biggest nostr event yet. the quality and signal of presentations was excellent. we are leaning into what is working, while at the same time there are still many fresh ideas emerging.
in comparison, i must say that bitcoin events feel a bit stale. you can almost pick any talk/keynote/panel and drop it into any other bitcoin conference over the past few years - and it wouldn’t feel out of place.
nostr has a lot of momentum and i dare to say that we have the winning hand vs. the legacy web. just keep pushing fam. 💜☀️
