I haven’t noticed as much reporting about Islamophobia from the BBC and to my way of thinking they are two sides of the same coin. It’s partly prejudice by British people and partly due to the attacks, first by Hamas and now mostly by Israeli forces. Although I’ve heard the occasional mention on the BBC of an increase in hatred towards people who look Muslim or Middle Eastern there doesn’t seem to be balanced reporting about what both communities are experiencing.
