Home from the hīkoi!
I don't think I've ever seen so many people in my life!!
I reached the intersection below the Beehive well over half an hour after police declared the Parliament grounds full, and there were still crowds coming along behind me.
Train after train pulled out of Wellington Station afterward with people packed in like human tetris. I managed to get on the third one I queued for.
This was my sign before I taped it to the cardboard, stick etc. (Some lady at Waitangi Park took it upon herself to put a line through the NOT with a black sharpie, but no doubt her heart was in the right place and she mistook the sign's intent.)
Now for a nice cuppa and a chance to review what, if anything, doesn't ache. I have CFS and my usual range is about 1km...
