"A group of Neo Nazis were spotted marching down North High Street in Columbus' Short North neighborhood on Nov. 16.
According to a representative of the Columbus Division of Police, officers were called to the area at about 1:15 p.m. Nov. 16, and by 2:40 p.m., the scene was being cleared. The representative told the Columbus Jewish News that 'fights broke out and people were pepper sprayed,' and the incident was handed off to a 'detective or undercover cop that does some digging into it' who 'deals specifically with gangs and supremacy groups.'
According to the representative from Columbus Police, there were 'physical altercations' that 'broke out, stopped and then broke out again.' The representative added that the march appeared to be spontaneous in nature, as the police department did not receive prior notification of a planned march."
