If we're gonna put warning labels on things, let's do the newspapers.

"NOT LOCALLY OWNED" right under the masthead.

"FOREIGN CONTROLLED" right under the masthead.

Be brave about it. Your job is reporting, right?

If all else fails, burn it down before a stranger uses up your credibility.

Journalism getting confused with public relations was bad enough.

Providing cover for outsiders to manipulate your neighbors shouldn't be a thing.

Sort them out with maximum clarity and minimum patience.
