#WordWeavers 16Nov—Has anything ever deterred you from writing what you want to write?
My cats sometimes deter my writing.

No, I can't say anything ever has. I write romantic fantasy, and don't shy away from telling people that's my preferred genre. I do, however, preface my stories with content warnings (just in case).
For me, writing is an act of self-exploration. As such, I try not self-censor. Gods know, society will do that enough.
