I think the hardest part for Apple would be opening up and showing products they’re not necessarily proud of anymore. They’re such a polished company, so when they do reference the past, they do it in a way that is pristine.
It’s not that there were particularly ugly things they’d avoid, but there would of course be things they wouldn’t ship today. That’s okay. But it’s maybe not okay from their perspective. And prototype models? I’d love to see it. I hope they have an archive with archivists.
