This is the paulownia, the only suit in Hanafuda that has three junk cards (in most games), and also the only suit in which one card typically features the manufacturer's logo. It's something like the ace of spades in a French deck.

And this is what the paulownia looks like in real life.



It was supposed to be called Pavlovna, but the people who named the plant didn’t know how this Russian patronymic is actually spelled.
