The onus is on the organization, and it can be done. I attended a conference online where I was first-time attendee and I met some wonderful people because the organizers mixed us up for the socials in a thoughtful way.
The alternative is a planet that’s uninhabitable, people left out, and people ill, to name just a few negative consequences.
We need to try harder, collectively, and push back against the idea that it’s not possible.
