npub1slyc6w2fy6t7sk7e5caxclu2dn629l35n4tkjyxzrqndkpq86x2sfut8j7 (npub1sly…t8j7) Hi - thanks for writing this up; we agree that onboarding in Element still needs a lot of work, especially while we're in the middle of the transition to Element X (which is excellent once you get in, fwiw).
We're going through the various issues here, e.g. label Element X clearly as WIP; maybe put Element Desktop in the macOS AppStore; fix the bugs you hit in email verification and device verification flows. However, we're likely to fix these in Element X rather than classic Element.
