It does feel weird to be out at a restaurant and to request no salad dressing for a salad. Unless it's a rare place that actually uses real olive oil and or vinegar (not cut with crap AKA vinegarette) it's going to be garbage and harmful.

It usually ends up with a perplexed glance from the wait staff or it just comes out with the dressing I asked not to be contaminating the salad.

I was a pain in the ass about this before RFK Jr.
