"Dad, what are houses made from in Nigeria?" my 6 year old daughter asked me this evening.
"Bricks," I said.
"Oh."
"Why do you ask?"
"I thought maybe they were made from mud," she said.
"But you've been to Nigeria. Did you sleep in a mud hut? Did you see any mud huts?"
"Oh," she said, worried she'd made me angry.
I'm not angry, darling; I'm heartbroken.
