That sums it up. You decide why you might zap/tip another user. Doesn’t have to be only good content. You might feel generous or want to donate or just want to test things. Value 4 value. Endless reasons. But yes, no old-school middle man. And you’re here so you’re free to join in. Be aware that the latest direct zapping feature in Damus is currently only available to those in the beta test program. But it will be pushed to the App Store soon. You can still zap people using the LNURL address stored in their profile (that’s the ⚡️ icon you see on their profile) or you can generate a LN invoice and copy and paste it into a note here. You will of course need a LN wallet first (many download and install the Wallet of Satoshi app to do this). However, it is a custodial wallet so advisable to only keep small amounts in it.
