Jeff lives in an actual hellscape where COVID is a constant. That is what he sees when he touches grass. He wants *something* done. Nobody here lives in that place, and so we balk when we see that he wants something done because obviously we don't need something done.
Canada needs to get that region under control and it never did. There will eventually emerge some new hellvirus out of there because of this, and Jeff will be right that it is because of COVID.
