The big problem is not capitalism. It may not even be a problem in the first place. The problem is that it fails to account for people who want to control others. So do any other system we have tried (democracy being the only one that even attempts this).
The big problem with communism wasn't communism either. It was the exact same thing. I am not aware of a single example of large scale communism that didn't have the same problem.
Every workers revolution I've read about end up with these guys in power. Lenin, Stalin, Mao and the Kims. Would any of these have cared which economic system the workers were using to make the powerful wealthy?
