I was wondering because there's a huge "log" next to it from a tree of the same variety that was taken down a couple of years ago (it's huge, about 8' in diameter), but the wood doesn't look like your garden variety oak wood and we're wondering what it it is. We live out in the country, and it's on some land next to the lot our house is on.
