My business couldn't pay the massive amounts Kaiser Permanente wanted for shit service. So it just stopped the health plan and I went on "the public dole."
To my utter amazement, the health care was Excellent, and Free, and the most I ever had to pay was for drugs At Cost, meaning cheap.
Enter Obamacare, and then what: go to the hospital for a blood flow problem and GET A BILL FOR $5000 FROM BLUE CROSS BLUE SHIELD, who I knew for a fact had NOTHING to do with my care. And this is a bill presented to me, a person who had a card from California FOR PEOPLE UNABLE TO PAY to begin with.
Read up on Obamacare and you GO TO JAIL if you cannot PROVE you are putting PROFITS into the pockets of HMOs who do NOTHING for human health. There's a word for that: SLAVERY.
So to the people who get bitter that the Democrats aren't "applauded" for the few things they in fact do: no, because we know what "getting 100 cents on the dollar" means, and that's not the Democrats, even while it's certainly not the Republicans. Nobody getting ONE CENT ON THE DOLLAR of what they have a RIGHT to expect needs to tolerate being shamed for being angry.
People don't have to hunt very far to find out how many promises the Democrats have made that they have abandoned, along with the people they claim to serve. Take any old thing: try MEDICARE FOR ALL. Remember that? They hope you don't.
