Introspection time.
So I was leafing through a photographer's timeline an hour ago and was about to comment "oh what lovely scenes and beautiful pictures" and it struck me: I don't take beautiful pictures. Like hardly ever.
Stark, yes. Gritty, sometimes. Oddball or strange, ok sure I like to do that. But over the past year I think I posted 3 pictures that might be classified as beautiful... and one of them was Yosemite, a park that is definitely not ugly.
"But Bob, if you'd just shoot at f/2 then everything becomes lovely."
"Hummmmm. Okay, got it. Thumbs up."
Anyway, I just thought I'd say if you are looking for beautiful photos, I apologize. I am a disappointment ("mom," my brain automatically adds to that phrase).
Cheers everyone. We are entering Christmas season and that means whacky Santa photos from me soon.
