Occasionally our small business is contacted regarding an opportunity to be featured in an upcoming magazine issue.
They let us know that we have been nominated as one of the top in our industry for the year. They let us know, with a bunch of buzzwords, that it will only cost us thousands of dollars for this special opportunity that will help us so much.
I generally think they should be paying us, and have half a mind to let them know, but maybe I just don’t understand how the magazine industry works.
Seems kinda fiat to me.
