Free will is an illusion, it's a social construct. We are not isolated from each other. We are /hive apes/, and we're in constant subconscious communication with each other all the time, just like any hive animal.
If you were to video, say, a cafe and watch it in fast motion you can easily see the unconscious coordination between "total strangers".
The hive is intelligent, the individuals apes are not.
