The last Scott Derrickson/Ethan Hawke collaboration was Sinister, one of my favorite horror movies of all time. It made afraid of lawnmowers and small white kids.
The Black Phone isn't as terrifying, but it does have its moments.
Ethan Hawke is scary and Julie Delpy plays his hat.
