I've sensed a dramatic difference in how narratives propagate since paywalls went up. We have to find a better way to monetize journalism. This clearly is not working for us. Newspapers could at least age their content so people who want and can afford real time access can get it, but everyone else gets it a day later. It's not ideal, but better than what we have now.
