So basically MDPI is playing the numbers here.
I've certainly had the experience of fellow peer reviewers (often new-career folks) with very little critical sense.
MDPI figures if they send it out enough times they'll get to two such reviewers, yeah?
What an incredible waste of honest reviewers' effort.
