You still haven't told me what mac you're benchmarking against ;)
The reality distortion field is still real, but...some of them are actually solid machines. Not leagues ahead of PCs perf wise but depending on form factor and such may be better. One fun trick is gaming on battery for more than 30 minutes ;)
