Aerosmith released “Dream On” in 1973, when I was but a wee lad. It was a staple of the classic rock stations I listened to as I grew, the school dances I occasionally attended, the playground boomboxes and chains-and-denim crowd’s cars’ stereos clogging up our town.
I’ve been hearing it for something very much like half a century now, as recently as this very morning.
And I still can’t make out at least half the lyrics.
