4am this morning the sky over the mountains is crystal clear, to the point i was even able to get a photo of some stars

the brightest one top left is Sirius and just out of frame up to the right would be visible the Pleiades
so if there is aurora in the coming days there is some chance i'll actually be able to photograph it... would look amazing if it can be seen with the dark profile of the mountains cutting a line below it

quoting nevent1q…hh4qwell, looks like it's gonna be more light shows in the sky... has been clear nights here for a while maybe i'll get lucky but i think we are just a little too far, but if it was visible in puerto rico in may after an x14 we just had an x7 earlier today and now another from the same sunspot, this one looks like an X9
so i might get to see my first aurora in a few days, i should seriously go down to the coastline to get some good images with low light polution out in the area between sao vicente and ponta delgada
