Ask them, why should organizations have their own e-mail servers, when they could just use gmail or other free, third-party platforms for private communications?
1. Greater control over their own communications data.
2. Easier verification of their identities to audiences.
3. Interoperability with other e-mail servers over the internet, even between different servers.
Why shouldn’t our public (social media) communications benefit from these same features?
