Can anyone explain to me how IPFS is superior in any way to bittorrent?

Yes, I read the docs, it's aggravating to set up and it doesn't seem to offer any real advantage.

It seems like it has a high churn rate and the majority of adopters are scammers/phishers/etc.

But I could be wrong and am willing to be educated.
