I'm finding microblogging platforms like Threads, Twitter/X, BlueSky and Mastodon to be less and less useful. Soundbite debates, drive-by verbal attacks and you can't really say anything substantive in the resticted lengths for posts (although Mastodon allows for 2.025 characters, it has fragmentation and free speech issues.)
