I would also like to see people stopping putting money into company sponsored Roth retirement accounts. No one can possibly know what the tax policy of the United States will be in 10,15, 20, 25 years. The argument people always make is that "I'd rather pay the taxes now than in the future". Why? What if there is no income tax? What if we move to a flat tax thats lower than your current graduated rate? No one fucking knows what's going to happen. All these jokers say something like "Well the tax rate can only get worse right?". Wrong. Don't pay the government their blood money upfront. If you're going to contribute to a retirement account at least make it a traditional one. Better yet, don't do it and buy bitcoin instead. By doing this you don't let some dumb fiat financial institution lock your money up for decades and then fuck you when you need access to it for an emergency (10% early withdrawal fee).
