I don’t have the math complete to back up what I said. I just know there is no other energy source that comes close to nuclear in terms of efficiency, and that can scale as quickly to support the lower 3-4 Billion humans as their standard of living increases significantly.

Wind farms just don’t work everywhere. Solar is limited too and dependant on time, season and region. Hydro.. only so much moving water. Ocean generation; too much maintenance. Geothermal, too complex in practise (I thought it would be the winner years ago).

I don’t see any optimism other than nuclear or changing humanity’s living footprint. And that footprint is accelerating, not decreasing or balancing out.
