Yesterday, #LoveOfMyLife and I went downtown to go to Kiehls and get a lip balm for her. That was the sole reason.
Unfortunately, Kiehls doesn't have that lip balm anymore (the last time my wife bought it was some 20 years ago, so no surprise there), so no luck.
We returned home with:
1x skirt for my wife
1x jumpsuit-like dress for her*
1x sweater
and
1x pair of pants for me, in burgundy
*: this is one of the cases where my wife would never have had looked at something like that, but when I came with it to the dressing room, she amusingly said "Ok, looks weird, but I'll try it if you want me". And then, she tried it on and..., wait for it, wait for it --- Her: "... omg it looks great on me, awww... I can wear it even to formal events, maybe with a beautiful shirt/blouse under it, it is so amazing, I would've never picked this!" - yes, my love, I know you would've never picked this 😍 - this has become a routine between the two of us: I pick something she would never choose herself, and she is absolutely blown away by how beautiful it looks on her..
